WE'RE THE KIDS IN AMERICA!

If you were a teenage girl in the 90's, you were TOTALLY jealous of Cher's virtual wardrobe in the classic teen flick, Clueless.  If you say you weren't, I have one word for you......

So when my favourite brand in all the land, Wildfox Couture, decided to base their 2013 Spring/Summer look book as a tribute to Amy Heckerling, the director of Clueless, I could barely contain my excitement... THIS COLLECTION IS WAY EXISTENTIAL TO MY LIFE!!!

With 90's fashion trends seeping back into our closets, this film seems a perfect muse for the California-based vintage-inspired brand to base their throwback collection.  There are indeed some trends from this era we'd like to stay hidden at the back of the wardrobe, such as those facelift-creating ponytails held up by a scrunchy and anything-but-mobile cellphones that couldn't fit in our bags, let alone pockets, but Wildfox Couture have found the perfect gateway to create nostalgia of this "totally fetch"  fashion era!  We're not talking neon biker shorts here!

"Do you prefer "fashion victim" or "ensembly challenged?".

The playful collection features scandalously short skirts with knee high stockings, matched with Wildfox's signature tees with slogans such as "Need A Lift To The Mall" and "Shopping is my Cardio"!
